MAY NEWS
Join us for the Opening Night of " Storytelling Through Music."
REACH is thrilled to host Lansing artist, Mila Lynn and her newest body of work: Slavery to Freedom “Storytelling Through Music”. All are welcome to join us for opening night: Friday June 7th from 7 - 8 pm.
This collection was created by Artist, Mila Lynn for the 24th year of Dr. William G. Anderson's Lecture Series, Slavery To Freedom: An American Odyssey. The artwork explores both Black Culture and Black History using oil paint, watercolor, and ink on various backgrounds like vinyl records and cassette tapes.
The collection will be available for viewing June 1 - June 30th, however we invite you to attend our Opening Night to see the artwork, mingle with guests, ask questions to the artist, and buy prints!
This will be the final chance to see the artwork before it is permanently housed inside MSU's Osteopathic College of Medicine.

Thank You Margo Barber
This week we are celebrating the retirement of our Education Coordinator, Margo Barber. You may recognize Margo from her cheerful smile at Walk in Wednesday or helping students during summer camp. Margo has been an amazing part of the REACH family and a mentor to our teaching artists over the last two years. We are so grateful for the time Margo spent at REACH sharing her creativity and her extensive expertise as an arts instructor. Although she is retiring, we know this is just the start of Margo’s next big adventure and hardly a goodbye. We look forward to having Margo at REACH this summer as a teaching artist with our summer and neighborhood camp programs.
