SUMMER CLASSES GO LIVE MAY 1ST!
With spring term well under way, we’re looking ahead to the summer term. Summer classes will go live May 1st at 8:00 AM. You can look forward to sessions of Adult Clay, Teen Clay Wheel, Acrylic Painting Basics, Life Drawing, and of course a new lineup of our FREE Walk In Wednesday class! Each December, REACH Studio Art Center hosts A Not So Silent Night, an annual community and fundraising event. December 7, 2024, will mark the 21st A Not So Silent Night celebration, and we look forward to hosting a festive event filled with refreshments, food, performances, and a silent auction. An important part of this event is the Featured Artist Exhibition which is a group show featuring the work of regional artists. Currently, REACH is seeking artists from around Michigan with new or recently created artworks to apply to be part of this annual gallery exhibition. Artists will display their artwork in the REACH gallery from Nov. 1st - Dec. 7th, and get the chance to give an artist talk here at the studio. SUMMER CAMP & NEIGHBORHOOD CAMPS
Seeking camps to capture your kids' imaginations and unearth their creative passion? Look no further than REACH Summer Camps for ages 6-13! We have a wide range of camp themes from breakdancing to theater, comics, and beyond, that provide the ideal platform for kids to delve into diverse artistic expressions and uncover their hidden talents. Camps are filling up so register today!
Neighborhood Camps at REACH July 8-11 & August 12-15! This camp is FREE for our neighbors in the Moores River Park, Fabulous Acres, and Reo Town neighborhoods. Join us from 1:30-3:30 for the weeks of July 8-11 and August 12-15. This camp is open to ages 5-17 (children 5-6 must attend with an adult caregiver). Pre-registration opens soon!
Stop by REACH for our fun-filled spring open house event, 'Spring Thing' on May 18 from 2-4 pm! Dive into an art activity perfect for everyone, take a tour of our space, enjoy some tasty snacks, and hang out with the friendly REACH team. The best part? Neighborhood Playdate - Moorse Park Meet your neighbors and celebrate the new playground on Saturday, May 18th, at 10 am. REACH will lead attendees in a free art activity.
Chalk of the Town - Old Town Chalk of the Town brings chalk artists to Old Town for a day of creativity and fun! REACH will be there with a fun activity. Saturday, June 1st from 12 - 4 pm.
Capital City Comic Con- Downtown Lansing Grab tickets and join REACH for a fun, nerdy, art activity. More details coming soon.
ScrapFest 14 - Old Town A festival and competition in historic Old Town celebrating all things upcycled! REACH will be there on July 13 from 12-4 pm with an all-ages activity. Come out and support the talented artists.
