Fall Class Registration is OPEN!
It is finally here – REACH’s fall class schedule is online, and registration is open.
Fall term starts on September 26 and we have a lot of exciting classes and opportunities for artists of all abilities and ages. Making art accessible to everyone is REACH’s mission and we offer partial and full scholarships for all youth classes.
REACH classes span from artistic play to learning advanced skills in a specific artistic medium. Our teaching artists are creators first and foremost and bring years of experience as artists to their classes as well as substantial teaching experience in the classroom.
New this fall, we are offering several four-week classes as well as one- and two-part workshops. These shorter classes and workshops are a great option for anyone who is looking to try out a new medium or who just wants a shorter time commitment. In addition to classes and workshops, REACH will continue to offer drop-in life drawing classes (both virtual and in-person), our free Walk-in Wednesday, and open studio times.
This year’s class line-up has amazing options for everyone. Below are a few of the new classes we will be introducing to REACH this year!
Intro to Filmmaking and Oh Shoot!
This fall we are offering both a Digital Photography/Photoshop class and an Intro to Filmmaking class. Youth have an opportunity to learn skills and digital software in the REACH Media Center taught by experts in the field.
Sew Fun for Adults and Youth
This is a fabulous opportunity for youth and adults to learn the fundamentals of sewing and how to use a sewing machine. Both youth and adult four-week classes are available this fall!
Classes for Homeschool Students
REACH now offers two opportunities specifically designed for homeschool students. Art Education Lab meets once a month and allows families to experiment with various art media during a self-directed workshop. We also offer an 8-week hand building clay studio class for youth ages 6-11 Wednesday afternoons.
