We warmly invite you to this year’s A Not So Silent Night fundraiser and hope you will join us on Saturday, December 7. This festive celebration will feature live music, delicious food, and a unique online auction showcasing artwork from talented local artists and items from area businesses (the auction is open to everyone even if you can’t attend the event!). It’s a wonderful way to support REACH and celebrate the power of creativity in our community.
SECOND ARTIST TALK TONIGHT @ 7pm
A huge thank you to everyone who made our first Artist Talk Night a success! We are so grateful to our incredible featured artists, Rhonda Sherwin, Shawn Krueger, and Sam Sikkenga, for sharing their stories and inspiring us with their work.
Tonight we are hosting our second artist talk with featured artists Steph Joy Hogan, Emilio Pino, and Kayla Turpin. This is a wonderful way to hear from local artists and to get a sneak peek at this year’s Featured Artists Exhibition. As part of our annual A Not So Silent Night fundraiser, 50% of each purchase directly supports REACH Studio Art Center, helping us continue to foster equitable access to the arts through educational opportunities and creative engagement.
REGISTER FOR TEEN NIGHT
Next week is the last Teen Night of 2024! We launched this program at the beginning of 2024 and it has been wonderful to see the creativity and community develop in this monthly drop-in program for teens. So whether your teen has joined us before or is looking to check out something new, we hope they will join us next week for pizza, to connect with other local teens, and have fun!
This month’s project is Scraped Paint Dots Paintings! Students will use syringes to apply thin paint dots on matboard, then drag the paint with a squeegee or paddle to create unique effects. After the paint dries students can add more detail using Posca or fine-tip markers!
Use the link below to register—the program is $10/student and FREE for Lansing residents.
STAY TUNED!
We are putting the finishing touches on REACH’s Winter schedule and registration will be available soon. Look for updates on REACH’s social media and watch your inbox for the announcement that winter registration is open!
Programming at REACH is made possible in part by donors like YOU! Support REACH by donating below.
As REACH celebrates 20 years of offering creative engagement in the arts, the need for out-of-school arts programming is greater than ever—and so is our commitment to meeting that need. Looking ahead to 2025, we are excited to build on REACH’s legacy by expanding access to art programming, including a new partnership with the Lansing School District that will bring even more creative opportunities to local students.
To continue this important work, we need your support. Your year-end donation will help ensure that REACH can continue to offer high-quality arts programming. Donations are tax-deductible and directly contribute to the success of our mission.
