END OF SUMMER ART SHOW
We recently celebrated the culmination of REACH Summer Camps with our annual 'End of Summer Art Show.' Nearly 100 campers and their families filled REACH’s gallery, proudly sharing the creative endeavors of the summer. This exciting highlight of our summer term brings so much joy as we see campers posing with their artwork and enthusiastically pointing out their creations while their beaming family and friends photograph the emerging artists.
The show is a chance for all of us to reflect on and appreciate the hard work of our campers, teaching artists, and teaching assistants. After completing 25 unique camp sessions for kids aged 6-13, there was much to celebrate. REACH staff extends a heartfelt thank you to the parents, friends, and families for allowing us to spend time with their kiddos over the summer.
THANK YOU FOR FUELING ART IN LANSING
This summer, REACH launched the Fuel REACH/Fuel Art campaign to raise $2,500 for vital investments in our facilities and outreach programs. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we not only met our goal but surpassed it, raising just over $3,000! These funds support crucial upgrades, including the purchase of a 'new to us' minivan to replace our decommissioned Art Truck. This new 'Art Van' will transport art supplies and teaching artists to community events and organizations, ensuring creativity thrives throughout Lansing. Additionally, funds supported the installation of a new HVAC system at our 10,000-square-foot facility, helping us maintain a safe and welcoming space for all. We are deeply grateful for the continued support that fuels our mission to provide equitable access to arts programming.
