Come enjoy a night of dyeing with us. Snow-dyeing creates beautiful patterns on cloth, releasing fiber-reactive dyes slowly as the snow melts on top of the cloth. Participants will learn to prepare fiber reactive dye solutions in an assortment of colors to apply to a 1-yard piece of cotton muslin which can be rinsed and picked up the following morning. In case snow is scarce, we will pivot to low-immersion dyeing and other surface dye explorations. This workshop is taught by Artist and Founder of REACH, Alice Brinkman.
