This is a fun evening of dipping cotton cloth into prepared indigo dye vats. The use of the beautiful blue (from the plant, you guessed it, Indigo) to create patterns on a cloth is an ancient art, used around the world. At the end of our fun, you’ll have 3 beautiful, patterned pieces of indigo-dyed cotton squares (approx. 25” x 25”) to use as furoshiki (gift-wrapping cloths), table accents, little bags or more! This workshop is taught by Artist and Founder of REACH, Alice Brinkman.
