Learn the ins and outs of making your own clothing. In this four-week class we will construct a pair of pants and/or skirt. Students will learn and practice skills that can be applied to future garment construction projects such as: working with patterns, seam finishes, hemming, waste bands, zipper plaques, and pockets. Students will supply their own fabric and patterns. In the first meeting, we will discuss fabric options, how to measure body, and choosing pattern and sizes. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THESE until after the first class meeting. Classes meet Thursdays, 6:00 - 8:00 pm, April 10 - May 1.

PREREQUISITE: having taken a sewing machine intro class or demonstrated ability to use sewing machine.
