This workshop is an introduction to the world of “Eco Dyeing”: using plants and natural materials to create lovely surface plant designs on cloth. Learn along with Alice who is also fairly new to the practice of natural dye. We’ll explore the use of local plants, mordants to fix and manipulate colors on linen and/or silk cloth. Materials are provided — you will receive an email before class with a list of optional plant materials to collect and bring with you.
