FEE SCHEDULE
The following fee schedule is for “pay per session” prices. Read carefully to determine which fee type you fall into. Please see the tables below for pre-pay session bundle options. We encourage you to use our Pre-pay options--they help save you $ and us time.

INDIVIDUALS
INDIVIDUAL “NEW TO CLAY”: you have had little or no experience with ceramic clay or your clay instruction was over 15 years ago. (clay activities in elementary school do not count as “experience”) We ask that if this is your first visit to Open Clay Studio, you register ahead of time and come (for your first visit) during the first week of any month (that OCS is running).
1st studio session fee: $20
2nd – 4th studio session fee: $15 each
5th and beyond studio sessions: $10 each
Glazing and/or trimming only: $5
Supplies included (individuals) if paying for each session:
2 pounds of clay are included with each studio fee (except glazing/trimming)
Glaze needed for projects made at Reach with Reach Clay is included.
INDIVIDUAL “NEW TO OPEN CLAY STUDIO”: This is your first time to OCS, but you have had ceramic clay instruction within the last 15 years (doing clay as part of a class in school does not count as clay instruction). [If you have taken kids clay or a clay workshop at Reach then you are not new to OCS.] We ask that if this is your first visit to Open Clay Studio, you register ahead of time and come (for your first visit) during the first week of any month (that OCS is running).
1st studio session fee: $15
2nd and beyond studio sessions: $10 each
Glazing and/or trimming only: $5

INDIVIDUAL “VETERAN TO OPEN CLAY STUDIO”: You have had clay instruction at Reach Studio (Kids clay, clay workshop, introductory sessions at OCS --- but doing a clay project during summer camp session does not count)
1st and beyond studio sessions: $10 each
Glazing and/or trimming only: $5

FAMILIES:
An OCS family is defined as ONE adult and up to 2 children (same each visit) who are under the age of 18 and live in the same household. One additional adult and up to 2 additional children (also living in the same household) pay an additional $5 each for a session (studio or glaze session). Adult(s) will be expected to supervise their children. Please speak with the director (Alice) if you need a special fee arrangement.
“NEW TO CLAY FAMILY”: The whole family or the adult in the family has little or no experience with ceramic clay or their clay instruction is over 15 years ago. (clay activities in elementary school do not count as “experience”.) 3 pounds of clay are included with family studio fee (except glazing/trimming)—1 lb additional clay with each additional adult or child studio fee.
Glaze needed for projects made at Reach with Reach Clay is included.
“NEW TO OPEN CLAY STUDIO FAMILY”: This is the whole family’s OR the adult in the family’s first time to OCS, but everyone in the family OR the adult has had ceramic clay instruction within the last 15 years. We ask that if this is your first visit to Open Clay Studio, you register ahead of time and come (for your first visit) during the first week of any month (that OCS is running).

2nd and beyond studio sessions: $15 each
If only glazing and/or trimming: $10

“VETERAN TO OPEN CLAY STUDIO FAMILY”: the adult in the family has been to OCS and is experienced with clay. If the child(ren) in the family have been to OCS or have taken a clay class at Reach, but the adult has not—please see “NEW TO CLAY FAMILY”.

Mentor Program Matches:
A youth and mentor who come from programs such as: 4H, Big Brothers Big Sisters, MSU Adolescent Diversion Project, Community Mental Health, or Family Court qualify for the “VETERAN TO OPEN CLAY FAMILY” pricing, even if they are new to clay or OCS.
Pre-pay options:
You may purchase a block of studio sessions or an annual OCS membership, which will save you over purchasing individual sessions. No refunds given. Pre-pay agreements are not transferable. Total amount of clay will be issued at the first pre-paid session.
